As the most likely precursor to the modern Martini, this origin of this cocktail is the stuff of legend. First mixed at the Occidental Hotel in San Francisco by famed bartender Jerry Thomas, this is one of our favorite cocktails to really highlight the character of 9diDANTE INFERNO.

INGREDIENTS

45ml / 1½oz 9diDANTE INFERNO 45ml / 1½oz Old Tom style Gin 7ml / ¼oz Maraschino Liqueur 2 Dashes Angostura bitters

HOW DO I MAKE IT?

1 - Pour all the ingredients in a mixing glass with abundant ice and stir until chilled.

2 - Strain into a chilled cocktail glass

3 - Garnish with a twist of Orange
